First shots with the 30-700mm VR

So here they are. I’m pretty pleased. I actually tracked a hawk that was waaaaaaay up in the sky and got a couple snaps. When I cropped them down it was a bit grainy but better than I thought it would be.

Still, I’m impressed with the color and sharpness of the lens. Of course this is meant for decent light…not indoors. I tried taking a few last night inside with minimal lighting and it’s a bit difficult to shoot moving subjects. Of course I knew that…I wanted this for outdoors and wildlife shooting which it seems to be a great fit.
