Portrait of a niece

March 28th, 2007 Posted in People

During a recent visit I had a chance to take some portraits of my nieces. I’m still learning a bit but I thought this turned out pretty good. This shot was with the 35-70mm 2.8. We just used a drop cloth over the back of a love seat and I decided to shoot a few in natural light.

Very nice. I might clone out the fingers sticking out of the arm and put a little white reflector ($2 foam core board works well) on the right for a little more fill-in, but otherwise, very nice. Did you shoot it at 2.8?
