Stitching 45,000 photos into a video
January 14th, 2009 Posted in WorkflowYou gotta give this guy some credit. I wonder if he took 45,000 or actually used 45,000 photos. Regardless, the time and patience to do this is pretty amazing, and he did it using not-so-hard to find tools. A Macbook Pro, Final Cut Pro and iPhoto. Of course he did do some effects with Eyeon Fusion which looks a bit more pricey and not found on your every-day computer.
Very cool though. I’ll be curious if the trend in DSLR’s with HD video capability, as the article mentions, continues or not. I hope so since you’re already putting some serious money up for some good equipment and lenses it would be nice to take advantage of it.
